Bamboo Salad Bowl Set with Lids, Set of 3

Love this set of lidded bowls. There are 3 handy sizes, each with a bamboo lid. The lids have plastic seals and actually do fit well. The largest lid has an indentation where you can store the salad serving pieces—very ingenious! The bowls nest which, of course, is great for storing them, and they are incredibly lightweight. Not only will they be excellent for mixing ingredients, they are also pretty enough to be used as serving pieces. Since the lids are bamboo, you can also use them as cutting boards, and the lids are attractive enough to be used as serving trays, as well. I love this set of bowls! They would be an excellent housewarming or wedding gift too!

I love items that can save space and still be functional. As I have been trying to use less plastic in my cooking, I have been interested in bamboo fiber sets. I have used bamboo fiber sets on a few occasions, and find the fibers can warp, especially if they are thin or exposed to heat (dishwasher). Bamboo fiber is a really cool material, but I find it can wear out much faster than regular plastic. This set looks beautiful! I love the neutral color, and the bamboo lids. The utensils sit nicely in the large bowls lid, and it makes storage a breeze. These bowls nest nicely, and I can now fit three bowls where I would have only fit one. The bowls are actually quite thick, and have some weight to them. I have washed them a few times now, and I have not noticed no signs of warping. My last rave is the adaptability of the set. I can cut fruit, mix up a salad, or. put together something, throw the lid on, and pop it in the fridge. The three sizes mean there is a bowl for everything. I really like this set and 100% recommend it.

This bamboo bowl set good quality. You definitely can smell the bamboo smell on the lids. The included large mixing spoons are great. You always know where they are. The lids fits very securely. I just don't know how long the rubber seals will last, so I will be washing the lids by hand. The 3 different sizes of the bowls are good too. The all nest inside of one another. This is a nice alternative to stright plastic, metal or glass.

This bamboo salad bowl set is both practical and attractive. The large bowls are ideal for serving salads, pasta, or even snacks, and the eco-friendly bamboo material feels sturdy while adding a natural touch to the table. The sealable lids are a nice bonus, making it easy to store leftovers without needing extra containers. I appreciate the lightweight design, which makes the bowls easy to handle, though the lids could fit a bit tighter for a more secure seal. Overall, this set has been great for everyday use and entertaining, and it’s a beautiful, sustainable addition to my kitchen!

Sturdy, durable, good size bowls. They stack for easy storage. The lids are nice and easy to put on. The added salad serving utensils are a nice touch. I love the look of the bowls, easy to clean. The description didn't say anything about if they were microwave safe or not so I googled it and that it's NOT recommended to microwave bamboo.

These are nice bowls, a little thinner and lighter than my all-melamine bowls. They are nicer than their lids that weigh nearly twice as much as the bowls and require special care. The lids are all bamboo, two layers thick. The largest lid is 1. 8cm thick. They could be used as occasional cutting boards, although lacking a drip groove, and having recessed edges the ring seals would be debris traps. I applied food safe mineral oil to the top of the smallest lid. It absorbs it quickly, which means this is not canonized, compressed, nor sealed, so the lids are hand washable only. They are compostable so may be accepted for recycling in some communities. The bowls, spoons, and slotted spoons are made of a composite of pulverized bamboo powder and a plastic resin like melamine. The composite is lighter in weight and may be more scratch resistant because bamboo incorporates silicon. The matte finish should also help. The bowls should be top rack dishwasher safe. I did a 3 hour cold stain test of the small bowl with catsup. It did not stain. I tried putting the slotted spoon into my microwave for one minute with a cup of water near it. The spoon heated, so these are not microwave safe, limiting them to salads that don't require reheating. The spoons and bowls are not compostable or recyclable. The bowls are nice, fine for the listed uses. but the listing is misleading. The bowls are plastic composite, not bamboo.
